It's not a disorganized mess, it's just its own kind of weird organization (i also omitted the second screen but that's because it's empty of icons)
My desktop is nice and cozily cluttered, just like my living space. I know where everything is if I need it!
Fortunately I cleaned it up a couple weeks ago so it hasn't grown insanely cluttered again yet, just slightly cluttered
Unless you count the SEVEN Firefox windows I have open. But its fine. Don't worry about it
Don`t really use my desktop at all² plus I forget to uncheck the shortcut option when installing things sometimes

My desktop has been on defaults since the last time I reinstalled windows, but here's what I had cycling on it last: A bunch of wallpaper-cut versions of Destiny and Destiny 2 emblem art.
And yeah that's two start menu buttons because they are too small for me to reliably hit with the mouse
mine is super vanilla but at this time yesterday, it was covered in so many junk files that my laptop just said "fuck it" and started piling every single file i downloaded to my desktop in the top right in a single pile. i have to clean my desktop at least once a month bc i take so many screenshots that this happens fairly regularly.
"adhd tips tricks techniques.html" is this adhd twine walkthrough by spacetwinks, "priority grid.png" is a graphic from this post about how to prioritize having too much to do that i find extremely helpful but every time i lose it i google "prioritization grid" and get this stupid shit that doesnt work for me at all so i decided to just keep it on my desktop and phone and ipad so i never lose it again, and "REVOLUTION BEGINS IN THE SINK.png" is this IWW poster that i keep on my desktop, mostly aspirationally, to remind myself that you can't advocate for pro-labour stuff, especially reproductive labour, without pulling your own weight
I obliterate desktop icons on sight because Kentucky Route Zero 8K wallpapers are simply better to look at that way
