Declaring that whatever feature, enhancement or bug fix you want to this webbed site "has to be pretty easy" is fucking insulting. There are ~5 people in this world whose opinions can be trusted about development priorities or complexity on Eggbug here. That being said: It is always easier to create new features than modify existing functionality, especially existing functionality that is really critical to UX. What you think is an "obvious improvement" will render the site unusable to someone else, it's why software development relies on things like UX labs and experimentation.
For the record if anyone who has never done it wants to talk shit about how easy it is to drive forks, tend bar, take dictation, stream video games, raise cattle, dig post holes or anything else I'll yell at them too.
