thinkin about the fact that i am using a chore manager with like 3 features (i'm not use 1 of those features), coded by someone with ADHD purely for himself (and his partner?), that literally no one else is using, and it's perfect.

this year is really something else for audio teams commissioning original songs for their games. i'll have a lot more to say about alan wake 2's incredible songs once we're done with the game, but:
for now i wanted to point out this gorgeous 'launch commemoration' song from reverse 1999. it was written by taro umebayashi, better known as the composer for the incredible Yuri on Ice anime. i'm in love with how freely it transports around keys and moods across its lyrics. since i don't think it's actually in the game, it seems mostly like a huge marketing flex, but hey it's workin. i really like it a lot.
the Puyo Puyo Manju revival continues: the new matcha flavour has launched at various in-store venues over the last couple days, and will be available online from tomorrow:
