I’ve been watching a let’s play of Chrono Trigger that uses the SNES version and it is so frustrating hearing all the dialogue that was censored in the original translation. Some parts are actually egregious, like erasing Ayla’s bisexuality, but mostly it’s that I know how it’s supposed to go but suddenly the big vat of “skull smash” is just soup, or something to that effect
