Curiosity flies through the galaxy as a swarm of innumerable drones of varying size, looking for things they find interesting and cataloguing them in exceptional detail*

*exceptional detail in that detail is the exception

This is the sheet I used for designing my Secret Samol gift! It takes heavy inspiration from Jack's description of Curiosity in episode 0 of Twilight Mirage, seeing as that's one of two places they're really described :p. Curiosity itself is based on the description that you could mistake the smaller drones for dragonflies at a distance, and you can see in the sketch at the top left that I initially made their body plan correspond much more closely to that, but decided to instead make them round and just keep the four wings and give them the proportions of a folded up pit droid from A Phantom Menace.

To the left I came up with a whole bunch of things that Curiosity could be interested in, only 4½ of which actually made it in. The beetle probably took the most time out of any of these since there were so many segments of the legs, but it took me a while trying to figure out how to draw coins for treasure before just drawing a classic rounded-top treasure chest. The weird obelisk was originally going to be surrounded by a city, but I thought it looked better (weirder) on its own. The person falling off a cliff, the beetle/insect, and the treasure were all based off of things that Curiosity was explicitly mentioned as being interested in.

"In groups, they move like water" was initially quite intimidating, as it could mean drawing an enormous amount of tiny things that wouldn't have visible details, but I eventually realized that I could have one stream of drones moving from one side of the page to the other, rather than a swarm in each scene as I originally intended, which would have been a nightmare to draw.

You might notice that there are six scenes in my mockup page layout, but only 5 in the final piece. This is because of two things: one, the swarm of drones ended up being thicker than the single pencil line I drew in the example (who would have guessed?) and two, the text boxes took up a pretty significant chunk of the space left over.

For the text boxes, I generated 3 random 6 digit numbers to use as coordinates and then added a very brief description. Jack's example of "TREASURE" made it in directly, and I tried to keep the others in much the same vein.
