So it turns out, high scatter amplifier on a Glimmer is actually really good. With navigational support skill, these guys go at 262 speed out of combat, which should make capturing objectives in battle a breeze, and in the simulator, eight of them (as many as I can have and still have 100% CR) can destroy mixed 120 DP fleets of all tech levels fairly easily, which I think is pretty good for only 40 DP of ships. Sure, the build is fairly pricy, requiring three capstone skills for full potential and 4 SP (225% bonus XP) for each ship, but hey, beam spam!
