A triumph of cinema, the moving picture redefined ; The past is swallowing the future, and the only way out of the mouth is through the teeth. I was stunned. The city is as much of a character as any of the cast -- all-encompassing, a background but never a backdrop, a constant background radiation, readily detectable but never with the naked eye. A feast for all five senses. Kino is back. Revenge is a dish best served in a doggy bag. The Buster Keaton references are the icing on this cinematic gateau. And let's not forget... more
