got this book as a Christmas gift, I'm a big fan of The Jakarta Method so I'm excited to dig in
Two chapters in so far, and it's interesting to note the similarities and differences to Jakarta. The same interest in the history of the left is there, and a similar way of framing political transformations around interviews (even more so in this book), but there's much more discussion of ideological and philosophical history. Honestly it feels a little bit unfocused so far but we haven't actually made it to the 2010s yet so maybe that's to be expected.
