I got my ears pierced today! :) It's something I wanted to do for years and just kind of never got to, but I had some money left over from an odd job so I looked up a good shop in town, walked in, and got it done. I can't help but smile in the mirror when I see the little starter studs twinkle through my hair. I've been determined lately to find things that can make me feel more at home in my body (an ongoing struggle) and this is a small, but significant one.

now I can shop for fun little studs and things to swap out once I'm healed up :3
