Damn, Coffinwell's story was good. Revisiting the Observatory was also really nice, and it did a lot to even further reinforce the idea of Celestrians being just as much dicks as humans (Even Apus Major is weirdly dramatic about how awful it must be to lose your wings and halo, and he makes you go pray to Yggdrasil to have them restored, which I had forgotten). Visiting Corvus' gravestone was also more of a moment than I remembered, and there's even a decent amount of NPCs pointing you in its direction. And after all that, the towns on the first continent have updated dialogue from all their NPCs! New quests, the DQVC unlocks (a store with limited inventory that restocked its wares based on wifi events, which can be edited with the DQIX save editor), a few named NPCs get character arcs, there's even foreshadowing for postgame quests!
