once again despairing about society is built around owning a car, which is just a perpetual money pit that also contributes to the destruction of the environment
In related news, I bought new tires this weekend with money that I don’t really have, and may have to toss more money into the abyss to replace the timing belt and water pump. All of this is predicated on the idea that the transmission replacement will hold for at least a couple years (but who’s to say)
this is making me wonder yet again about maybe trying to pick up some freelance editing work, but I have no idea how to actually start doing that if it’s even a viable idea in the first place
