There was a lot I never got to explore here. It was cool watching everyone else though. Maybe someday I'll open up like that too.
I have completed my two-year-long project, We Deserve This, and preorders are now open on my publisher's website. Preorders will all be signed by me.
This is my attempt at putting a work that showcases how incredibly beautiful my community and my friends are. I wanted more genuinely empowering and uplifting images of transfemmes to exist, and I didn't see enough in the world, so I created some.
i've been photographing trans women (without skill or art) for like, 9 years now, and it's actually amazing to have this incredible document of us just living our lives — though not one I can exactly share or publish. it's such an important thing to be doing. i'm excited for your book!
it feels so good to tell the story of our lives, no matter what angle we tell it from. thank you so much!!
i'm just now hearing of this, but this is a really cool concept and the photos are amazing! also i love love the cover design, super simple and striking and the color accent matching those in the photo is just. ah. so good. 💛
