I clicked it, but it only brought me to the homepage. I thought maybe it'd say in the footer (ha) but youtube homepage seems to endlessly scroll more content now
I searched google. Searching "youtube" plus anything only brings up videos marginally related to the words after youtube.
I went to the youtube blog (which was thankfully a blog with text and not a youtube channel), a place where no human would bother going, poked around the myriad pages of product manager announcements. No boots
I have no idea what the boots are for, and I have no way of knowing
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a reference to today's Google Doodle for leap day. No clue why clicking it doesn't take you to the doodle in that case though
