It bothers me a little that all the letters are thick on the left and thin on the right, except the A.

You're right and you're right to say it. It's pretty common with similar art deco fonts, but I may provide some alternates.
Apologies if you already compiled a similar sheet yourself, but after reading "I don't have a complete specimen" I had an adhd moment got really curious about how many shapes can be gleaned from examples listed on Fonts in Use and wow that Symphony No. 10 cover really pulled the weight here, thought still would be worth sharing just in case

Yeah, no kidding. It's practically a complete specimen on its own, nothing left but the 8 and 10 point Scrabble tiles. That is what I have been working from, primarily. I'm grateful to whoever scanned that at such a high resolution.
