Love ambitious old games, including ones jammed full of in-game voice samples or fully acted FMV! But it's a damn coin toss whether you'll find one properly subtitled (much less offer captioning) before the late 2000s. I wanna read up on if there were tech/budget constraints, or more of a lack of will from team leadership at the time.
Thinking about accessibility on this front reminded me of a good-ass vid by Paper Will on the history of gaming for blind players. There's even some critique of modern app offerings!
