it makes me nuts seeing people say "people who don't believe in transmisandry don't think trans men can be oppressed" you motherfuckers we have a word! it's transphobia! you still get that one! take five seconds to google "intersectionality" instead of immediately whining that "why is the funny 'permission to be horny on the internet' form only for transfems why don't we get one :o(" motherfuckers! you are men arguing that women aren't uniquely oppressed compared to you. do you get that? you are not arguing that 'trans men are oppressed' you are arguing for a unique intersection of oppression between being trans, and being a man. that's what the word you invented means.

love and support the trans women & transfemmes in your life. don't add "and trans men too" to posts about transmisogyny. support your sisters. look around you at what's happening, who is being systematically censored and banned, who is getting treated as 'hysterical' for defending themselves, who is being viewed as a sex object instead of a person. look at who is getting harassed on this goddamn site.

YUPPP i’ve always found the terms transandrophobia/transmisandry off. it’s pretty much the same as the issue of cis men trying to argue that they’re oppressed more than cis women. and if transmasc ppl can understand why that’s ridiculous then we should be able to understand why transandrophobia/transmisandry are also ridiculous. yes there ARE struggles to being transmasculine but those struggles are either from transphobia, misogyny (if people perceive you as a woman), and/or racism. NOTTTT from misandry or androphobia because that is Not A Thing. transfem people, like OP said, experience transphobia AND misogyny TOGETHER: intersectionality. and it’s DIFFERENT than transmasculine people and we are absolutely NOT the ones who should be centered in those conversations. transfems should be. 🙄

hi please see my post directly below yours in the transmisandry tag for examples of transmisandry that aren't just transphobia. yes transmasc people do experience a unique bigotry and even a unique oppression... i don't get why this is so hard for the new crowd
