i feel like i could spend hours studying the cult of the lamb soundtrack, especially the town and npc themes. it blends video-gamey synths, soundfont sounds, and melodies with hip hop bass and vocal chops, and ties it all together with a very dynamic and complex percussion backing. so many things going on at once, and yet between a combination of the mixing and the way the composition ebbs and flows, every piece of instrumentation has a brief moment to shine in its own right, regardless of whatever else is playing around it. goated soundtrack.
