Yeah just keep it polite and curious. Kind of a "let's work together to get to the bottom of this", because we are.
Apparently putting "Trans Rights" on a mobile depot counts as "Trolling"
The choice of messaging on the part of GM Vision was a clerical error, and I apologize for any confusion it may have caused. The warning was issued for naming mobile depots with phrases that reference real world/out-of-game political issues, which tend to cause artificial large increases in submissions of support tickets, as capsuleers on each side of a polarizing real world political issue try to set the GM team on each other, to get each other in trouble with CCP Games.
This particular kind of trolling is considered a violation of section 1 of our Terms of Service, in relation to the filing of excessive amounts of support tickets, or more specifically, causing others to file support tickets due to bringing real world political issues and opinions on real world political issues into the game.
The warning was not related the content of the phrases you wrote on the mobile depot, but rather its nature as an out-of-game real world political issue. I remain at your disposal should you have any questions or need further assistance.
This is really disappointing to read. Those depots brought a smile to a lot of trans players in EVE. :/
Glancing in game again, I can't help but notice that the other political mobile depots weren't touched.
Yup. Even the rule itself is basically "if enough players are weird about a minority group then it's political".
