I own so many coffee making things, and my tier list is as follows. S-Tier- Espresso machine, Aeropress, V60 A-Tier- Chemex, Moka pot B-tier- Good ole fashioned drip brewer. C-tier- However they make garbage diner coffee so comfy. Trash tier- French press
The hot take is probably the french press, a lot of people love them, but I don't use mine that much. I use it for making large volumes of coffee, but if it's just me and Flora, I never touch it because I like filtered coffee smoothness, and most importantly, it's a pain in the ASS to clean it up. The Aeropress is mainly in S-tier as it's by far the easiest to deal with the grounds.
Clean up is a big deal to me tbh. I hate spending time and effort on coffee, I want it NOW. :P
I admire dedication to a nutrition craft. Like, the most I do is some off-brand Keurig machine with some basic little cup thingies you can shovel some grounds into for a single serving, and i call it good. Even my taste buds are lazy.
