Im surprised there hasn't been a movie made by it by now. Its just such an insane event that occurred.
Seriously! It could work in almost any register, too. You could play it straight, or you could do something like The Favourite where you lean in to how weird and stupid the whole thing was.
True- certainly options on how to handle the film. I think one is getting made (The Last Battle)- though no clue how far along it is.
