i do this all the time when talking about solo game dev stuff, even when there's no reason to. i'll be like "we sold X units the first week-- wait why the hell am i saying we, it's literally just me on this one"

it's weird to feel like a pronoun is the equivalent of a little collared shirt and necktie, an indicator that you're a Proper Spokesperson who's currently operating in Professional Mode. but then, who has more experience than us queers at imbuing pronouns with extra linguistic baggage, am i RIGHT FOLKS,

I started choosing to go by "they/them" so saying "we" kinda felt natural to start saying as well. But also, I'd get ask if I had a mouse in my pocket when I was a teen, addressing myself as we, so YES, I do have multiple cartoon mice, thank you for asking. Here is a stylized mouse as proof.
