May be rambly bc I'm treating this as a place to dump thoughts.
don't tell my partner i got home and ate half a bag of goldfish
Edit: I guess I hoped people would play in the space and have fun with it a little bit but "I would just make more rise" is a fair answer i guess yeah
You can do whatever you want as long as you don't make them fuck or commit extremely graphic bloody murder, it's still a nickelodeon thing. Other than that creatively you're off the leash. What will you do?
I'll go first.
I'd pay however fucking much it takes to make a really wild as hell high budget tokusatsu show. Kamen Rider, gekiranger, style. Transformation sequences, super exquisite suits, monster of the week, extended nonsense plots, the whole nine yards. Film it in Japan and import it back. The turtles are four kids raised in the underground by an elderly ninja who teaches them to fight, who activate TURTLE POWER to transform and reach their maximum power. It would be rejected by most viewers for being incomprehensible madness and "they're not even actually turtles or mutants!" But I! Don't! Give! A! Fuck! Though! Make Leo cold and calculating, Raph the hot-blooded emotional heart that drives them all to do what's right, Donny as a brilliant daredevil who thinks he's always two steps ahead (and he is), Mikey as the compassionate healer to keep them "human" so to speak and remind them how to smile.
Now you, your turn. What do you do?
This question caused me to draw 3 to 4 sketch pages last night. I think they look okay but I'm definately struggling to keep them looking turtle-y but cartoony! I'm gonna try to answer... soon enough.
I'm really thrilled that I'm stumbling across a thriving Chuck E. Cheese fandom. I love bumping into fans who are drawing and talking about weird shop talk that I actually get. I'm wary of contacting them if they don't list their age, because I don't want to accidently interact with a minor (I make a rule to not contact them unless they reach out first).
I'm glad that people appreciate Chuck without also spending a lot of their time in FNAF. Its just not my cup of tea. I rather see what cute headcanons they got about the big cheese.
Actually, I've been a little more nostalgic, simply because I think being the mascot allowed me to explore myself in a way nothing ever had at that point. I liked being the mascot a lot and took the performance seriously.
