talking to astarion during the duration of the game and always asking "you WHATTHEFU do you mean but THAT" whenever he mentions "a plan"TM": this
i kinda like his more naive obv traumatised hope that when he has the remotest form of power stuff will just align somehow, but also he was TOO smooth brained (AND CALLED EXACTLY THAT) in the epilogue
i went and watched his ascended "romanced and broken up with" epilogue and. bro is a pure salt mine and it's so obvious none of what he says is even remotely true. extreme ex who is bragging and is trying to make you miss him energy. (but also massive kudos to Neil for conveying that in his acting like DAMN)
another funny thing to me is that if the player is ascended Astarion and recruited Minthara she sees right through him and mocks him in, i think, the most savage way she mocks anybody in the entire game lol
minthara is just the party's paladin therapist with enough religious bs to require a better version of herself, i dont know how people can misinterpret characters SO HARD when she exists (alright under certain conditions before) or the break up dialogues when you two-time companions, literally spelled out right here and its always voiced,,,
