while iirc Extra has extremely heavy subtext but doesn't actually show anything, CCC sure seems like it went as far as it could with a Cero D rating lol
I really don't wanna say something like "Is CCC worth it although I get bored with Extra" in this particular post, but is mostly the combat that I stopped playing the game, not even a turn based RPG fan like me enjoys it
so far through the prologue the game feels a lot more like a 3D visual novel than a traditional RPG. the combat system is identical to Extra but it's basically a footnote in the overall scheme of things (again, so far)
i'd say being familiar with the premise of Extra is more than enough to know wtf is going on in CCC as it's essentially a diverging route of it starting from Extra's prologue (which explains why it's not considered canon in the Extella series)
Funny how this looks like the no canon story is the best one. The entire fate community hyped me this game with that has one of the best scripts in the franchise. If this is how it goes, then sooner i'm gonna try it.
Glad about not having to complete the first Extra to understand this. Not even with Emiya the combat was fun. (In the sense that I love Emiya)
