super elated to finally be able to share with everyone - i have joined the ambient music label dragon's eye recordings for my next release!! the label has been a wellspring of meditation for me for many years, including works by dozens of artists in their roster. i now sit beside exploratory minds who have inspired me like richard chartier, lawrence english, luigi turra, france jobin, ai yamamoto, and label housefather yann novak, though i still feel i have much work to do to claim myself a contemporary to even their works of nearly 20 years ago
under yann's guiding hand, the label has set its sights on providing a home for avant garde, electronic and experimental sounds produced by underrepresented voices in the ambient scene - lgbtqa+, women, artists of colour, and so on. after including some of my work on his radio show "sounds of a queer ambitopia", he reached out to me to ask if i was interested in putting out a release through the label. i could not have been more delighted to accept, and have been provided some resources i otherwise would not have had access to and entrusted fully with my own vision for the work as it came together
come september, i will have more to divulge once the album has been announced through the proper channels. for now, i leave you with some links to the label and the wonderful artist who provided me this new piece of art of myself, which the label was eager to embrace
