i've been crunching since last Thursday night, mostly stopping to check here and on discord. but it's done—it's got everything i've posted this year on cohost (minus detailed summaries for my car liveries, these are already available on http://www.s56design.fr/ so it's way lower priority) and then a bit more that i didn't post. (mostly alts and such)
it's also pure html+css, i know stuff like javascript has neat uses but... i really like when i can browse a website without checking noscript at all (and also i'm not gonna bother with js and others if i can do without)
it's "bare bones" in that it's missing a bunch of stuff such as alt text, pictures from last year and beyond, my liveries as mentioned above, and so on for the sake of getting it up quicker. (don't think i'll ever get to go beyond being a hobbyist considering how disgusting motorsport is as a working environment for ppl who aren't white cishet guys so it's not like the resume page is exactly useful, but yknow)
i might also have a few bugs/annoyances i haven't worked out yet; i realized a bit earlier my overlay texts were fine on tablets but way too big on phones for example
overall, the neocities supporter sub + my domain (free for the first year) bring the total cost to about 62€/year, or 69$/year ( :) ). that's lower than my initial idea of getting the cheapest Adobe CC (72€/year) sub with an access to Portfolio which is really nice
i mention it on the friends page but i wanna thank again @theworksofegan for the permission to use their code as a base to build from (also personal reminder to include the same credit in the html itself)
i'll try to have an 88x31 button ready soon. you can also follow the website here if you want? https://neocities.org/site/aenore
(also i changed my bsky @ to my domain so i had to change the link to it in several places lol; idk what it actually does but hey it's shorter for the same thing so)
it's just a bearblog where i'll mention updates whenever they're worth mentioning but it works well? so
https://aenore.bearblog.dev/feed/?type=rss
this place is reaching technological levels never thought possible
