when i take pics i try to capture "what i see" rather than "what is presented", so i find it interesting that this is how i saw Sphene from the beginning.
this was taken after the first or second dialogue scene with her in Heritage Found, at which point the game hasn't really done anything to make you fully doubt her, aside from briefly showing her a few hours earlier in Tuliyollal and Alisaie being suspicious of her. but out of survival instinct i've become stupid good at gauging ppl on first impressions alone and it seems that extends to fictional characters too; because i think this ended up being a really accurate depiction of a queen too far gone into her kingdom's lies to ever turn back
