A friendly 31 year old cat from the birdsite. 18+ only, I like and will share lewd things sometimes. Be warned and follow at your own risk <3

everyone on every social media site constantly complains about every other social media site and the grievances, imagined or otherwise, they have with them
it's a very complex ecosystem of gossiping about the neighbors
and yes this very much includes cohost
I'm still a little... mrenh about social medias to commit time to.
Bluesky is a given. People are there and it's been cultivated to be a pretty nice space.
Where I'm really on the fence about is Tumblr and Cohost. And I know there's a bias here because... obviously. I like that there's people on Tumblr, I hate their moderation practices. I like Cohost's freedom, but I don't like that it feels so much emptier.
That said, right now I'm leaning Cohost over Tumblr because just recently Tumblr's moderation proved to be extremely transphobic in labeling a trans girl's transition timeline as "sexually explicit" (despite being not sexual at all) and banning her account entirely.
What was that long search string you could put into Twitter to find where your friends were going?
