ACTUAL LONG POST LIKE REALLY FUCKING LONG LIKE JESUS CHRIST
Harmony is yellow because deceit but also sunshine.
jouji is also yellow because deceit but they are primarily white because white is clean and pure. the fact that, impossibly, dirt never gets on them is reflective of this. the only other colour they wear is black and it's their fuckedup slutty little necktie . because sin is black. also the fact it's a necktie is crazy because like. that shit is for the neck. that is tied around their neck. anyway. also the only time they'd ever get stained is after committing a sin . because part of sinning is allowing oneself to sin. allowing oneself to get dirty. for even a second. whatever. why is jouji on my post. get out.
aster is blue because blue evokes serenity and calmness. they wear darker colours to better blend into dark spaces.
shifter is purple because i like purple and purple is like the monster colour if you want
vincent is green because his first appearance was in a colour rpg and he was literally just green souda kazuichi.
ul is red because tord eddsworld. and blood! but i find my use of white interesting too. did you know i intentionally chose his right eye. something about sin or whatever. or taking the pure. something. idont rememebr it was left v right. it's why casey is supposed to mirror that. anyway
casey is green because ul is red. that's it.
darius is red because he's a demon but he has gold accents because theyre very rich accents and he's a . he's a guy. for sure. initially, his colour was purple, actually. because purple is like. very rich. very royal. but in the end he's like. a nice dark red-brown.
aria is pink because she was purple but pumpkin is purple.
pumpkin is purple and orange because halloween
kuiper is green because green is like a glowstick colour and i gave her some coolant shit and it made sense inmy brain for it to be green but it could be pink and this might change I kind of want to make her pink I like her
rory is yellow and black because he's a shithead teenager. this is very funny because he is a raptor rip-off, and raptor is purple and red as fuck.
curveballing into genkei. genkei is red because the colour red marks passion, love (devotion), violence, and, most of all, blood. he's making a statement. she's announcing a threat.
aimée is green because aimée is green. it's also funny because they're so dedicated to mechanical ""life"", which contrasts the whole. nature is green idea. they're also brown. which again is very earthy.
phyll is green because theyr'e a dinosaur.
the professor cunt is green because weird suspicious science tube sludge is green. so basically same reason as kuiper. also something about green can be so sinister
sasaki is red because it's the love colour. but it's very harsh and passionate. sasaki is certainly more of a pink-lover than a red-lover.
rocky is orange and brown because he's a cowboy.
tachibana is pink because that's the it-girl colour
yasu is a vampire like a generic ass fucking vampire of course they're black and red .
nao is pink because it speaks to her youth and girlhood or whatever like she is very much a young girl in spite of everything that happens around her. ena is purple because purple is very mysterious and ena's a weird kid.
dimitri is white because again white = purity but dimitri is . obviously not pure. dimitri is a mistake. a mark. they are a contradiction.
kage is red because red is a very strong colour. but also blood. which is funny, because he is staunchly anti-murder.
taiyō is blue because kage is red ^w^ andalso because they came to me in a dream (almond cookie (kage) and cap'n caviar cookie (taiyō) stood next to each other for .5 seconds and i waslike This could be fun. neither ofthem are really liek their inspirations except for maybe kage a little bit but whatever). yellow is a more prominent feature in their design. this is, again, because kage is red and a little more subdued. the yellow is more of a 'DANGER!' marking, as it indicates their work with live wires and whatnot. definitely more of a sunshine-y use, though!!
Murakami is green because they're sick. But also because life and vitality and whatever. It contrasts their character. They're also white because white is pure and Murakami strikes for perfection. I can't say the rest of this uncensored.
jess/gaia/alli whatever they tell you next is green because. well. they're plants. they're vines. but purple for alliums. they're alliums. [pose]. purple is also again a mysterious colour and jess is like. ok theyre very. a lot. but their a lot isnt exactly true.
the wizard was white and yellow because those are very. helpful, hopeful colours. they've shifted to black and purple because . again purple is mysterious. but they also help to blend in with dark spaces. it signifies some sort of shift in personality. the wizard is in a rut even if theyre very funny about it.
chethi is red for poppies but again passion sacrifice blood etc etc. they were the talker of the two, for sure.
Adonis is Dark Pink because she's sinister love.
augur is pink, black, and white because i like pink and black. also because pink is very close to red, which is passion and sin, and black is the colour of sin (and mourning). she looks a bit like she's going to a funeral in a fun way. it stands out as an 'other' for its brand. it intentionally makes itself look even stranger so others know exactly what they're getting. they're not getting devout religious, they're getting rebellion. they're getting claw marks in their arms. they're getting dead and desperate eyes. leo contrasts this by also wearing black, moreso as a symbol of mourning. also because, despite black being seen as a sinful colour, you see it in a lot of religious garb. whatever. leo's colour is black by the way
maze is weird green because he isnt that guy from the game i stole him from he isnt he's maze he's maze and he's green he's weird murky green because it's kind of a sickly colour and i like how it looks thanks
FTSOI break: the fountain is obviously blue because of the water, fatum is gold because it's very steampunk-detective. cailight is violently purple because of magic. paraego is red because red is evil and greedy. vollgrow is green because it used to be a place of abundant life.
