cohost should have an inexplicably staggered two column view, where it's chronological but in what way it's chronological is unclear. That was one of the defining features of google plus, and it helped keep discourse down because you were too busy trying to figure out what happened recently

Very efficient use of space and who actually cares about the strict ordering of posts anyway? No one, that's not how social media feeds actually work, even "chronological" ones.
the hit registration on this social media site is too floaty and gets in the way of crisp and flowy PVP
