I love the chimeric cadent so much! I really want to see more. I think it's such a Signet thing to do, to become this living memorial and protector of the divines. Austin said there were 3 people in there I think so is belgard part of them too? Also what pronouns do you think they'd use? I've been using she/they (they more for the multiplicity). Feel free to not answer my questions ofc I'm just excited 😃

the chimeric cadent is so fucking cool i was dying to know how y'all came up with it thank you. it makes so much sense too given where signet and the waking cadent left off because despite being very old signet like refused to die before the waking cadent out of spite (i think y'all talked about that in the TM epilogue iirc it's been a while tho), so it definitely feels like a logical extension of that lol. plus we finally got some long-awaited signet body horror, which didn't come up nearly enough in TM... overall it was just such a good payoff for her story thread i just love signet and the chimeric cadent so much it ruuuules

You don't know how good this is for the Twilight Mirage Book Club. But I will tell you that I find this such an interesting piece that we will be holding up to compare in our long-form study of that season.

I am very happy when references to Twilight Mirage are made in the show but this one in particular was extremely nice to hear !
