preview of the thing i was attempting to get done last minute before the jam ended yesterday. technically i had everything seen here done a bit before it ended but i didn't really wanna upload anything so barebones to my itchio (perfectionism is a disease or something) even with intent to update and theres a fuckton of other stuff i wanna add like more characters and options and menus and shit. so it gets to cook for a long while longer
fairly pleased with myself for figuring out how to get the snapping to work even if its simple as fuck just because every programming experience i have is me fighting for my fucking life and every success is like i just won the war
i also ended up needing to draw all the graphics with my mouse which was a change of pace for me just because my tablet is currently without a charger...the clothes were easy enough but since i don't trust myself to be able to draw something as complex as a person with it i ended up drawing her on paper, taking a picture, cleaned it up in csp, imported it into decker, and then cleaned it up more in there. probably needlessly complex but hey, it got the job done
(I think this project is really cute and I hope @abandonware-prophet considers publishing it someday)

unfortunately i ended up getting distracted by other things basically immediately after i originally posted this, so i still have never gotten around to adding all the cool extra content i was talking about...but i didn't forget about it entirely!! i actually uploaded a playable version of it to my site just the other day while i was working on it1, what's there is...basically exactly identical with what's in the gif as i wasn't joking about getting distracted Immediately, but it's there, and you can play with it, and give her clothes...
someday i'll get around to finishing it. someday... (stares wistfully into the distance)
