XLP-120-AHN "Devourer"

Does anyone know if it's possible to make a background-attachment: fixed; background image positioned horizontally relative to the container it's in?
Seen below, the background image works fine if the post is centered relative to the screen like on profile pages, but on the main page they're slightly offset and it doesn't line up right.
