The only reason I haven't deleted mine yet is that people i know keep linking tweets, and iirc the Twitter web interface is more obnoxious if you're not logged in.

Platformer reports that Twitter is considering requiring all users to share their location data with the platform, and then allow Twitter to share their data with advertisers, as well as any phone numbers that are used for two-factor authentication.
They are also considering preventing all users from opting out of personalized ads.
im like 90% sure that elon himself was behind this in some form because nobody else would be that childish

Hiya, first post outside of my account on this site as I waited a month to be allowed! This is... really disturbing to see. I mean banning the journos was enough to set me off, but now to see a well regarded security researcher banned as well is... troubling. Tried to leave Twit before but just couldn't cause all my friends and stuff are there, but this is deeply disturbing to see.
Man. This makes me think of the dad who tries to wash dishes by hand to save water while taking hour long showers and letting his grass drown from poorly adjusted automatic sprinklers.
