Plotter print in two colors (two fountain pens), about 10cm x 10cm, 2020. The base is a 3d model of a tree stump produced through photogrammetry. The purple layer is a basic cross-hatched fill pattern. The green layer is a spanning tree over the visible edges of the mesh. GCode is directly produced by a pile of Python & Lua. Executed on a 3d printer questionably converted into a plotter (see for example the stray mark in the upper left caused by the paper being slightly higher in that corner).

whoa, super cool!!! i wonder which inks you used? great choices, especially how they combine to make dark blue shadows. 🤩

i love how the angles of the cross-hatching and generated edges resemble the angles of CMYK dots, but have a different texture.

The thicker purple lines are with a TWSBI eco fountain pen with, I think, Pilot Yama-budo ink. The thinner cyan lines are with some cheapo fountain pen that came in a set ("ooly color write fountain pens", the 8-pen set).
