Hi, I'm bcj. I don't think we've talked much outside of you having emailed me about bug reports I made a few times.
I post a bunch on here. Mostly mundane stuff about my life or little jokes. Probably the best thing I consistently post are (mostly animal) photos from around my neighbourhood (see #bcjpeg). I also run the only animal crossing flower racing league on cohost.
I post a bunch which is maybe annoying if you're not following that many other people. Even if you don't follow, you'll probably see some of my better photography shared onto your timeline.
As someone on the site a lot here are are some recommendations of other people. Here are some folks I know best (or in most cases, solely) through this site. Maybe you already follow them (maybe you even invited them):
I think @compactdiscinteractive is the best non-personal account on the site. It's fun to see games I never would have seen and in a style that is completely different than the ones I played growing up. It's run by @dog who is also wonderful and is a the front-runner for best @ on this site.
I've really been enjoying @nex's investigation of Elden Ring enemies at #AI Deep Dive. Not to undersell the cool post formatters she's made for the site or the other things she does on here.
@JhoiraArtificer is consistently a friendly and informative face in the replies and she also deserves great credit for inventing the concept of #wifeposting
@numberonebug (another person gunning for best @) posts a lot about their administrative job in trans healthcare and I find it real interesting
The opposite of someone I met here, but why not follow my friend @wayward? They don't post a ton on here but maybe you'll get to see a cool drawing or hear a fiddle tune (once audio posts are allowed). We sometimes do fun projects together (e.g., with another friend we had a photography club in Umurangi Generation and now are collectively playing Caves of Qud by switching off playing, journaling, and map-making duties)
Also, if your a reader, may I recommend posting about it with the #whatcha reading hashtag? I'm hoping for book cohost to be a thing.
