currently trying to go threw this article from geeks for geeks about it but idk man this seems kind afucked up
it is also very funny to me that nowhere in the course so far has he mentionsedthat you need a unix system to run this code, mabey thats kinda a given becuase its like a 4000 level course i think but ya nkow.
all i know is windows half-stole their socket/internet headers from BSD one time but didn't copy it exactly ("i gotta copy this guy's homework but i need to make it look like i didn't"), so there's weird interface differences between how BSD/unix/linux/mac/EVERYONE does it and how windows does it
windows is so janky, i swear half of windows's jank is just there to make switching to linux development harder (for those used to the nightmare that is <windows.h> especially)
