I currently have a secure roof and access to household food, but no income to cover things like medications and phone service and contributing to the household food/bills myself. Any aid is deeply appreciated.
December: $510
January: $370
this is sadly gonna have to be a thing this month too, since unemployment is still stonewalling me. the good news is I should have my tax return in time for February necessities, and that will be significant since I was in a higher bracket for withholdings than my half year of income actually required.
final December numbers include some holiday gift money from family. did spend $60 of it on candy making gear, which is arguably the opposite of "better diet" but I've done a fairly good job of that within the smaller budget and this lets me assure my mother I spent some of it on fun things for Christmas rather than just groceries. (and there's a genuine chance I take a run at making it a revenue stream; "local small batch artisanal" is a magical incantation around here and nobody's doing candy...)
once again, massive thanks to everyone who helped out this past month. 💝
