I live in the middle of nowhere with a permanently understaffed post office which doesn't do street delivery (instead, one free PO box is provided per address)
most other shippers don't do PO box delivery
but also, lately, a lot of discount shippers are handing off to the post office for final delivery
and it's become commonplace for online vendors to just not tell you what service they're using
turns out Makeship's $9 "standard" delivery relies on USPS
I gave them my street address
fun bonus: most tracking systems don't understand this situation, mark it as a "delay," and don't push notifications so I only find out when I'm like "wait where is that" and dig up the tracking number
eggbug I'm sorry, trying to fix
