Making a bite-sized tactical RPG and also music sometimes



Every time I make a new sprite I think I'm a little bit better at it. Which is cool, but I start to make them slightly more detailed, or less blocky looking and suddenly I realize they no longer fit the style of my game haha. So I'm learning there is value and challenge in intentionally limiting that kind of stuff, in my case to make simple but appealing sprites that all fit together visually. It's giving me confidence that I can be a step more ambitious in my next game, though. I guess that's what happens when you keep doing something over and over :eggbug-uwu: Who would have thought
