i have been playing morrowind recently too and the same exact thing happened to me! you can get soooo far from anything recognizable very quickly

I think I remember reading about the world being inspired in part by the deep south in the USA, so that tracks
Tamriel Rebuilt rules, it's like there was a DARPA-funded thinktank to figure out what made Morrowind good and then just make More Of That for twenty years
