Anyway please play The Roottrees Are Dead because, legitimately, this game made almost entirely by one hobbyist is up there with some of the best and I need other people to know what I'm talking about

Eggbug ate my notifs so I'm just now seeing this 😭 I would say... it depends on how fast you get through the content? It's more like 3 hours than 8 hours for sure, but there are some well-hidden mysteries and so depending on if you hit a logical roadblock at a crucial point, that could influence how long it takes. I finished it in one evening (I stayed up fairly late), but you can save your progress partway through.
