Good morning, Cohost! It’s Monday morning. If you’re in the US, it’s Thanksgiving week, so if you have a long weekend this upcoming weekend like I do, I hope you enjoy it. If you’re in retail or elsewhere and have to work for Black Friday, I hope you get through it with as little stress as possible and get a well-earned break sometime soon.
If you’re still waiting to be activated, hang in there! Patience is a virtue here, and it’ll be worth the wait. If you’re already activated, I hope you help spread some positivity this week; we all need it right now with the state of the world being what it is. Even if you’re not activated, you can still share other people’s posts, so take time to spread some of the things you like to see here!
Stand up and walk around for a few minutes every so often, and make sure to stay hydrated. If you’re feeling down, you’re valid; I can’t just say "it’ll be okay," because that’d sound cheap and hollow coming from someone who doesn’t know what you’re going through. But what I can do is remind that how you feel right now isn’t how you’re always going to feel - keep on keeping on.
If you’re getting ready for a long drive (maybe visiting family for the holidays, etc.) check the oil and the tires before you go, and don’t text while you’re driving. It can wait. I want you all to get where you’re going in one piece. Let up on the gas just a bit and enjoy the scenery. Whatever you’re up to this week, I wish for joy in your heart and a smile in your soul.
