i tried to write a blogpost on the topic, but re-reading it, i think it was just extremely meandering and confused.
so ummm I'm just going to ask the question directly: If you post dono links, or especially if you respond to dono links, here or elsewhere: how do you conceptualize what's going on there? When do you post, when do you share, and when do you donate? Do you have a system for "triaging" donations, as awful and bloodless as that might sound? is it really "mutual aid" in your view?
I ask specifically because so far my habit has been to donate small amounts to as many people as possible, until I run out of dono money. and like, that does a good job of avoiding the nasty "triaging" step, but, like, i really don't know anymore. 10 people with 10% of the bills paid results in 0 bills being paid. 1 person with one bill paid at least achieved something :/
