Alphadeus

Originally written in 1998 or so, it used to be a fun simple piano exercise. At some point in 2010 or 2011, I evolved it into a complex piano piece, and this is the 2020 version that uses the recording of the 2011 version in an updated form.

The title refers to the land of Rispar, part of the Magic Coins/Ad Infinitum story, a land that a god cursed with a thick mist that made it difficult to see very far. This is the beginning of Ad Infinitum 2 - Zars, which will probably never be put together properly. Although many of the songs have been written and released on other albums.

Also known as "Secret of the Coin", and originally called "Secret of the Crest", this is an extremely solid song that tells a story about a powerful artifact, that an evil force is trying to find. The second half of the song has a more positive, heroic part.

I wrote this song on piano first, and composed it afterwards, as opposed to simply writing the music outright like I do nowadays.

Written in 2015 for the album FRACTURED. One of the few songs I actually enjoy listening to from that year. I mean 2015 wasn't terrible, but it was definitely my weakest year if you don't count 2013, where I barely wrote anything.

Fairly positive piece with good vibes.

Written in 2019 for an Ad Lib album, the theme being for an evil king in an RPG.
