thinking about how the reason i love infrastructure is almost entirely an eldritch horror thing

vast, powerful, extending well beyond your perceptual limits, and operating on a logic that, while outside your comprehension, is definitely still there

vast, powerful things. and yet absolutely dwarfed by the world around them

do you ever just sit back and think about roads? about how all of the roads together are one great big machine? how much that machine weighs?

the things humans build have always been awesome and terrible and wonderful to me. sometimes too much so

be careful listening to the thrum of the machine, lest it drown out your own thoughts

yeah it's fun to just feel the shape of it all in the back of your mind

also until yesterday i had never heard of the Mystery Flesh Pit and now i am obsessed; it lines up with my interests almost too well. thank you for introducing me to it!
