ZII - Z-MSV (1985)
Designed By: Kazumi Fujita
Zeta... Two!!!! The Z-II is an interesting design, one of many to go 'You know the Methuss' boxy transformation? That's actually the ideal.' It seems like a common thing with a variety of suits that came later on and this is one of the earliest examples (alongside the Guncannon Detector, also from Z-MSV, using the Methuss' transformation partially for bracing while aiming.)
A fun effect of the art is, the backpack and shape makes you think this'd be a tall friend but! The actual head height is kinda short, for a Zeta era suit? It's 18 meters at the head, in an era where suits tend towards 19-20 meters, which doesn't sound like much but when you consider the kinda lanky proportions, it can look amusing when you have it next to, say, the Zeta.
Two different height comparisons, first from Dalong, with a height comparison against the Zeta itself here: http://dalong.net/reviews/hg/h186/h186_p.htm
then we have Schizophonic's review where he compares it with the Rezel (Which also uses the Methuss style transformation) here: http://schizophonic9.com/re3/hguc_zII.html
It's just an interesting design to see next to others because it always FEELS like it should be taller? I wanna get it at some point, always love me the Z-MSV weirdos and I adore the heels.
