hey y'all, jae here. it's been a bit since our last financial update (we've had A Lot going on, both personally and within the business) but we're at a point where we aren't going to get meaningfully more information by continuing to wait to publish this. as always, if you have questions about any terms it's worth taking a look at past financial updates.
You have a ton of people brainstorming ways to keep cohost afloat and the response from staff seems to be: "we'll let you know if we figure something out on our own". More generally you have a ton of people who want to help (myself included) and there's literally no way for us to help because staff is so unresponsive.
Clearly, many of us in this community have fresh ideas, we're eager to lend a hand, and yet we're met with radio silence. Yes, we understand that there might be larger issues at play behind the scenes, that staff might be overwhelmed. But if you involve us in the problem-solving process, perhaps together we can work towards a solution that benefits everyone. If only the staff could remove their blinkers, take us into account, be more communicative, we might be able to salvage what is left and reignite the potential of cohost that we all believe in.
It's not just about fixing the current problem, it's about setting a precedent for open dialogue and mutual respect, which will provide a healthier and more resilient environment for the future. Embrace your community, staff - we're here to help.
