So, about a year ago I got a cheap Canon EOS 1D Mk2 N. It has 1D in the name, I know, but this isn't some high-end camera that costed me a bunch of money. It costed some guy called Nathan a few thousand dollars in 2005 when it came out, and I know this because his ghost haunts my image metadata. I bought it at a camera flea market last spring for $120. The batteries and charger ended up costing me more than the camera.
All of my memories of photography in the mid-2000s was with HP Photosmart cameras like the HP Photosmart R817 and the HP Photosmart 850. They sucked.
This, on the other hand, is 8.2 glorious megapixels of mid-2000s professional camera. And it still holds up.
