through my life I've been able to consistently annoy my movie nerd friends by saying simple things like "VHS is fine", "Standard def is fine", "DVD rips are fine", "720p 30fps is fine"
then again I've been extremely annoyed by some of them doing shit like finding a DVD rip of the movie and being ready to go, and they fucking insist on tracking down a higher quality version of it on some random streaming site and waste everyone's time waiting on them or someone's wifi can't do 4k or the site is blocked or something but they refuse to watch a perfectly fine version of it because a "better" one exists
Literally have had someone turn a movie night into about an hour of them fucking with their kodi box, an argument about it, and then people leaving because they wouldn't have time to watch the whole movie any more
I will however cut you some slack if you're looking for a specific cut of a movie that has like 4+ versions because that's an pain in the ass and actually makes a difference
or epic crossover superhero stuff generally but especially the Snyder cut
